Continuum features range from image restoration to extruded text, titles, and 3D objects, as well as chroma and compositing, particles, and image stabilization. This distribution is built, among other things, on the original Mocha pixel selection algorithms Masking and Planar Tracking Pixel Chooser.

A brand new line generation feature has been added to Particle Illusion for Continuum 2022. This new feature allows you to generate line segments that automatically connect particles to their parent emitters. In addition, this feature includes the ability to even connect particles to other particles!
Create fresh mograph images with emitters that spawn particles in 3D space that connect to each other and to the parent emitter with user-defined lines.
Turbulence
Add complex organic motion to particles for more realism and new possibilities.
We've added a new turbulence feature to Particle Illusion for 2021! Turbulence can be added to other natural elements that affect the path of particles in the atmosphere over their lifetime. So you can now combine the natural force of user-defined gravity with wind generators driven by turbulent noise patterns that can push and pull particles in all directions at the same time. Turbulence can control the position and size of particles through automatically developing turbulent fields through which the particles pass, or over the lifetime of each individual particle. Or both!
Deflector improvements
Deflector Improvements: Bounce, Rip, Stick, Slip and Slide!
In the new version of Particle Illusion, the detection, collision and interaction of the particle deflector has been greatly improved. As the particles flow from the emitter and find an interaction shape, they can be configured to bounce, stick, slide, and slide on, along, or across the surface of the interaction shape.
You can even instruct the particles to break up into smaller and smaller particles that change speed and direction when they interact with the shape of the deflector. There is no limit to the number of deflectors or emitters that can be added to a scene. The possibilities are endless.
New emitter presets
Ready to use and inspire! As always, each release includes a new collection of particle emitters that showcase newly added features, and this release is no exception. You can download the new Particle Illusion 2022 emitter library here.
Once installed, you can use the Particle Illusion list view to quickly isolate the new 2022 emitter library from the standard set. Or you can set the library view to grid mode, enable playback in the emitter preview window, and use the arrow keys on your keyboard to sift through the installed libraries and visually find the correct emitter for your project.
You can also use the favorites feature to tag your favorite or frequently used emitters for quick retrieval.

Edge Cleaner
Continuum's powerful chromatic keying tools with Oscar-nominated Primatte technology just got better.
The new Edge Cleaner effect gives users spatial and temporal control over key edges. Easily capture squeezed green screen footage that shows flickering edges around areas of fine detail such as hair. Edge Cleaner is available as a standalone effect in the Continuum Key & Blend Unit and is also built into Primatte Studio.

New improvements
Maxon's C4D 3D model integration with Title Studio continues on the path of improvements and now includes more shaders and materials than ever before. Support and rendering of C4D 3D models in Title Studio has been independently verified to provide the best and most accurate rendering results of all 3D model plug-ins for NLE and compositing systems.
New Composite Textures and Procedural Noise Shaders
With the new Texture Composite shader, you can texture 3D objects with procedural generators, gradients, images, or even video clips from the host's filtered timeline.
Use the new Procedural Noise shader, which includes over a dozen texture types, to create custom materials that can be applied to any 3D element in Title Studio. These custom textures can be saved as new materials in your title studio's custom library for easy and fast retrieval in any Title Studio project.
New C4D 3D Models
We've added 15 brand new professionally crafted 3D models created with Cinema 4D and designed specifically for this version of the Title Studio update. This new batch includes spherical elements and a series of backgrounds, some with curved arcs, some with low-poly surface distortions.

The new FX Editor is built into each of the 80 new HDR compatible BCC+ filters that have been added in Continuum 2021. This brand new preset editor provides a visual way to interact with 4000+ factory presets and custom generated presets and includes an interactive editor color curves, interactive 3-way color wheels, visual histogram, split and side by side comparison mode - side views and OCIO color LUT options.
